The Toronto Maple Leafs and Sport Chek hosted an interactive question and answer session with a Toronto Maple Leafs player on Wednesday, November 25th. The Toronto Marlboros Major Bantam team was fortunate enough to be invited to attend the 60-minute interview conducted by Paul Hendrick from Leafs TV with Brad Boyes. The event occurred at the newly renovated Sport Chek Yorkdale location.
The experience included a brief introduction followed by a question/answer period focused on preparation, training and on Mr. Boyes’ own hockey experiences. It was a great experience to have Mr. Boyes share his journey. He offered great and well received advice to these young men. Mr. Boyes’ message included the importance of education. Not surprising given that he was once honoured as the CHL Scholastic Player of the Year.
Following the question and answer session, Mr. Boyes made himself available for photos and autographs.
