Dr. Phillip Tzemis graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto in 1986; receiving his junior and senior school letters,  the J.G. Bourassa cup award for leadership, scholastic achievement and extra curricular activities the  S.A. MacGregor award for academic proficiency ,participation in student affairs and athletics and the Dr John A Sherman memorial award.

Following graduation Dr. Tzemis began practicing at Yonge and Eglinton and continues to provide comprehensive, and aesthetic dental care for all ages from his clinic on the 29th floor at 2300 Yonge Street.

Over the past 25 years Dr. Tzemis has been a demonstrator at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto, lectured at various meetings, works with underprivileged youth, coached basketball and  hockey (presently a coach for Minor A hockey, GTHL), and has completed over two thousand hours of  post graduate continuing education. He is a member of numerous dental organizations including the ODA, ADA, AGD, AACD, Academy of Sports Dentistry and is on the executive of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. An advocate of a play safe sports mentality, Dr. Tzemis has completed training in Chicago with the Academy of Sports Dentistry.

Having played football, basketball and hockey at competitive levels he understands the athlete’s needs and the importance of properly fitted protective mouth guards. Providing appropriate mouth appliances for young and seasoned athletes has always been a focus for Dr Tzemis.

Dr. Tzemis is honoured to be part of the Toronto Marlboros 2001 ‘AAA’ team and is looking forward to using his 25 years of experience to provide support for these young athletes.
