Who has had the most influence on you (parent, coach, teammate) & Why? My parents because they have supported me the whole way in school, hockey, and life.
Who do you pattern your game after and why? Jonathan Toews because he is one of the best all around players, and he is a great leader.
What jersey number do you wear & significance? 27 because my birthday is on March 27th.
Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions (what do you do & why)? I always have to sit in the corner in the dressing room, I have to be last one in line for the "off ice" warm-up before the game, I have to be last out of the dressing room going on to the ice for the game, I do a handshake with Daniel D'Amico, I have to take the last puck out of the net in warm up, Coach Tony gives me a water bottle while Coach Louie is talking and spray my face with the cold water, and finally I skate by the goalie before I take the opening faceoff and smack my stick on his pads. Why I do this, I don't know.
What is your most memorable hockey moment and why? Winning the International SilverStick in Whitby because it is the biggest tournament in the world, the OHF's in Ottawa because I had lots of fun on and off the ice.
If you could have dinner with any three people, who would they be and why? Johnny Gaudreau, P.K. Subban, Connor McDavid because they are really good hockey players, and I would want to learn new things from them.
The one thing people don't know about me is: I'm really good at Ping Pong.
